BAND CAMP
July 28 - August 2, 2008
Band camp is held
at Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant this year from Monday,
July 28 through Saturday, August 2. All students in the Grandville High School Marching Band must
attend.
Students have
three practice sessions per day at camp, varying between sectionals,
drill practice, and full band rehearsal. On Saturday, the
students will perform for parents and friends. Students rehearse on the
field directly behind Finch Hall, while pit students rehearse on the
lawn in front of Finch Hall, on Franklin Street.

Students are
assigned 4 per dorm room, each dorm room having two bedrooms, a
main/study room and a bathroom. Each bedroom includes 2 beds, which can
be bunked, two dressers and a closet, and the main room includes four
desks and chairs.
