Band Camp - Essential Items:

• your instrument

• music, lyre & flip folder  (3-ring binder for pit students)

• sunscreen

• water bottle labeled with student’s name  (REQUIRED of each student at check-in)

• toiletries  (CMU provides bed linens, towels, and bar soap, but you'll

                 need your own shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste, etc.)

• alarm clock

• white tennis shoes

• white socks

• black band camp shorts  (to be picked up at check-in)

• Show t-shirt  (If you marched in the 4th of July parade, you already have your shirt. If

                       you were not in the parade, you need to pick up your shirt at check-in)

Other Useful Items:

• sunglasses

• hat or visor

• insect repellent

• fan

• clothespins  (to keep your music pages from flipping in the wind)

• spending cash for pop, pizza & snacks

• backpack

• slippers  (your feet will hurt, and the dorm floors are hard!)

• jacket or sweatshirt in case of cool weather

• rollerblades  (They're NOT allowed in CMU buildings, but you ARE allowed

                      to rollerblade to and from the practice fields)
