Congratulations Bands
The High School Jazz Band 1 and Jazz Band 2 and the 8th Grade Jazz band all received 1st Division ratings at the District 10 Jazz Festival on March 18th. On Thursday, Feb. 25th, all four high school bands had outstanding performances at the District Band Festival. The 2nd and 3rd hour Concert Bands received an overall 1st division rating with a 2nd division rating in sight reading. The Symphonic Band and the Symphonic Winds both received straight 1st division ratings. This is the 41st consecutive year for the Winds and the 40th out of 41 years for the Symphonic Band. On March 4th and 5th, both 7th grade bands and both 8th grade bands received 1st division ratings at the District Band Festival. Congratulations to all the band students from Mrs. Ross, Mrs. Kool, Mr. Garcia and Mr. Persky!
